Welcome
Since the first World Aid Walk started in 1970 you’ve raised more than three quarters of a million pounds to help people in need around the world. 2010 was a landmark year for the walk and to date more than £30,000 has been pledged. Funds raised will go directly towards the work of Oxfam, Save the Children, Action Aid, Christian Aid and The Tumaini Fund, in places of need across the globe. For the 10th year Ipes sponsored the 20km walk which took take place on, the May Bank Holiday, 3 May. The World Aid Walk Committee would like to thank everyone who took part in the walk and everyone who raised money for our chosen charities. Details for the 2011 World Aid Walk to appear soon!
