Christian Aid

This year Christian Aid will use all the money they receive to help 135,000 people in Burkina Faso to strengthen themselves against the impact of environmental disaster and enable them to stay on their land. In 2008, 10,000 hectares of agricultural land in northern Burkina Faso were destroyed by floods - yet another tragedy for a country that has suffered droughts for most of the last 30 years.
